More then just encountering Picasso which we have seen at UN in Geneva . We are so impressed by 6 giant sized tapestries with a theme pet tapestry , amazing one you can meet on floor 0.
Being able to buy three tickets at once streamlined our experience! Wouldn't have gone to the Reine-Sofia had I not bought the package and glad I did.
This was amazing experience, paintings and sculptures were briliant. Paper guide and map of the museum were very clear and readable. Highly recommended!
Having the flexibility to make an art tour with your own pace and skip the lines in any of them makes an awsome start for any journey
It was my first time visiting the museum, but it was astonishing ... starting from the building itself, to the number of important artworks, to the Guernica masterpiece. I hope to visiit again the museum soon.
The exhibition is beautiful,we decided at 'the last minute to go to the Reina Sofia museum, our vacation was at an end. Thanks to Headout , the ease with which we got tickets the visit to the museum was an interesting experience.

I didn't expect to see such beautiful and inspiring works, from both major and lesser-known painters. A splendid experience!

Seeing paintings and sculptures on walls and floors rather than in books. Getting there early meant we had time to absorb some of the paintings without the crowds.
Unfortunately, the ticketing system is not functional and we had to wait in two lines to get in. First at the ticket office and then at the 'entrance. The tour, on the other hand, is well organized and you can easily find the things you are interested in

Audio guide set up very poorly. We walked through the same halls several times to find the works described. The rooms are poorly marked and you waste a lot of time finding matches. Also, some works were out in other exhibitions but were listed anyway.

Picasso....ease of getting around exhibition. Would of preferred a physical map, not just on the phone doesn't make it easier. Had to just read the information given on the wall display for directions!
Having skip-the-line tickets for three museums was a great help. Let customers know at The Prado they will have to "exchange" their digital tickets for printed ones to differentiate between the museums. They will have to stand in line to do so. No big deal but a bit confusing as there is no signage for this. The museum is extraordinary as is the Thyssen too!
This was a return visit to the Prado after 12 years. As expected the work on display was truly wonderful. The last time I was there Goya's black paintings were down stairs in ( I think)a basement area. This time they were in a room on the ground floor adjacent to other work by Goya and Velazquez and I felt they lost something of their impact. My main gripe with my visit this time was the crowds. It was impossible to get anywhere close to a lot of the better known and more popular works. Big attractions like Las Meninas and Goya's 3rd of May were impossible to view as the crowds were so large -- a lot of pushing and shoving involved. I know there is very little that can be done about this, but I thought I should mention it anyway. Also the queing in the restruants and cafes was so long and frustrating that we gave up in the end. Apart from these few grumbles the Prado visiting experience is still among the best in Europe. And what a collection!
Purchasing tickets was a breeze. I would take the three museum option when booking your tickets. The Prado was great but you couldn't take photos. Other two were an incredible surprise. Must see!
While the works are magnificent, we found the signage unclear and the visibility of work numbers inadequate. The tour, based on a main selection, is not at all intuitive.

I spent the whole day going from one museum to the next. Each was unique and featured thoughtfully curated exhibitions. It was very easy to use the pre-paid ticket although I wasn't initially aware that you have to take the QR code to the ticket window to exchange for an actual ticket. The close proximity of the museums to each other was a huge incentive to keep moving. It was fabulous.
The visit was really enjoyable, having already purchased the ticket online we did not queue to get in and after a brief initial bewilderment as to where to start the tour, after the initial directions given to us we were able to visit the entire museum on our own. A really interesting experience, with so many beautiful works to see...you truly leave culturally enriched. I highly recommend it!!!

Excellent collection, well designed flow, good verbal descriptions, good audio, lots of seating in the galleries and nice coffee bar. An excellent day spent in Madrid
Interesting museum with Great art exhibits. Too bad that during the time I was there one floor was closed to the public. In any case enviable experience, excellent management of access with the ticket already ready: no lines!

It was really really wonderful to see all the wonderful paintings. I knew it was a very large museum but it was really quite difficult and complicated to navigate the route. I think the path through the museum needs to be more user friendly.
Awesome collections. Would have skipped the Thyssen had we not opted for the Paseo del Artes and that would have been a big mistake. Ticket usage was a little confusing. Would have liked to know that "over 65" reduced rates are not restricted to EU citizens, as they are in France.
Being able to see the art I studied in school in person was a dream come true. It was fun for me to recognize artists names and tell my mom fun facts I had about the artist or how the paining came to be.
Wonderful museum with many masterpieces. It does take a few tours to do justice to all the pieces worth seeing. In addition, the Prado staff is extremely friendly and helpful in finding your way around (this is in great contrast to the attitude of the (hospitality) staff at Reina Sofia). We had a three in one ticket (Prado, Reina and Thyssen). In itself, we got value for money. Nevertheless, we appeared to be insufficiently prepared. There appeared to be different opening hours (one of the three closed early on Sunday) and there appear to be days when admission is completely free. That is a point for next time.

It was a very good experience: at the Thyssen and Reins Sofia museums we skipped the queue and got in immediately. At the Meadow we did a little 10-minute thing. We liked all three museums The Lawn outstanding. Too bad you can't take pictures, even without flash. Thanks!

The service worked very well; in each museum I only had to show the QR of my ticket and they gave you the ticket; I went in July and there were almost no lines, likewise, I consulted each worker before starting a line to know where to redeem the ticket. It is advisable to take a screenshot of the QR because sometimes it is hard to load the app in a hurry and.... the only detail I can say is that it is VERY tiring to visit three museums in one day but it is very rewarding. I recommend starting early, as soon as the Reina Sofia opens, around 12hrs have some lunch and go to the Museo del Padro, as it is the largest and where you will probably spend the whole afternoon; and around 5 go to the Thyssen which is usually the smallest and least visited.

For those of us who wear hearing aids because we are deaf, they should offer hearing aids that go over the ear instead of in the ear, because when we remove a hearing aid to hear the guide we hear all the ambient noise, which in this case was the noisy guides with school children. In the case of the art at the Reina Sofia Museum, I would prefer anecdotes about the paintings, the museum and the painters rather than the guide's personal interpretation of the works.

We loved the layout of the museum, the wide variety of modern art ; the history, especially of the Guernica, and our guide was absolutely phenomenal!
Our guide, Anna Christina, was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. She created an experience that exceeded our expectations and allowed me to learn more than I ever expected. Best guided museum experience!
Anna Christina was a wonderful guide for the Reina Sofia. I learnt so much. Finding Anna Christina was tricky though as the instructions need to be updated to explain the meeting point is inside the museum entrance by the library and that the entrance only opens at 10am.
Audio guide was not great quality. Our guide gave some good information about avant- guard art starting from cubism and ending with Guernica. I would have liked to be told what other galleries we didn't visit included. It would have been interesting to look at one or two of picassos pre cubist paintings ( in one of the other galleries) to contrast with his cubist works.
by making plans to have a guided tour, we were able to skip the long line. Our english speaking tour guide was informative and made our time interesting and entertaining.
Our guide! She was wonderful. The starting was awful. Organizers pretty late, too much fuss getting organized (names, earphones etc no connection in the beginning..) Our guide was great. Excellent english, nice details. She is partly english:)
The museum was too crowded. Meeting point was in one door and entrance on the other. Just a waist of time. The museum is a nice visit in Madrid.
Guide was good. But tour was only i hour instead of 1,5 hours as promised.
Eva, the guide, is extraordinary in her explanations.

The roofs were not down despite the cold weather and there were leaves from the trees even on the lower deck.

There were many stops. Everyone helped give directions. The audio was clear but some of the seats did not match the language and channels. It was raining hard. I wish it had a side cover on the top deck.
Being able to buy three tickets at once streamlined our experience! Wouldn't have gone to the Reine-Sofia had I not bought the package and glad I did.
Actually i only do 3 stars. 🌟 because the stops are so spread out and not easy..its always full and packed. The conductor are not nice bit nasty plus sometimes they stop narration
It was great that the tickets could be bought in advance. The bus trip was fine. Too bad the audio didn't work properly, so we didn't hear everything. The queue for the palace was very long. With our pre-purchased tickets we were able to skip the line. Very nice.
This was amazing experience, paintings and sculptures were briliant. Paper guide and map of the museum were very clear and readable. Highly recommended!
Easy to find pick-up locations. Friendly staff. Nice tour (modern and old). Always a spot free at the top.

Great tour that allowed us to ride and see with small kids a lot of the city. Very nice commentary. Easy to use and very helpful for non-Spanish speakers.
Good quality of vehicles and narration (guide), excellent range of languages for the guide, good frequency of buses and punctuality.

Booking was easy but be aware of how many similar tours stop in exact spot. Big bus is obvious and dark red color but two different companies have bright red - one is Madrid city tours and one is city sightseeing Madrid. Many tourists getting on wrong buses and confused. Also stop near plaza del sol is hard to locate. Be aware that Prada stop gets busy - it is also where the buses end their route or take a break, so you may wait for a bus only to find after letting passengers off it is stopping service.

The buses run very frequently we never waited more than a few mins. We also didn't need to print out our tickets as we were told to, they just scanned them on board. We were not out early enough to do the walking tour at 11 am. But we were able to do both 1 and 2 routes on our ticket. The headphone sockets did not all work but you could share one set between 2 of you. Remember to take something warm to wear, it gets quite cold on the top. Great experience and good value for money.
The best thing that happened to me when I visited madrid was this bus ride because I went to see the clasico but my favorite team Real Madrid lost it.

Everything is great, only the attitude of some of your collaborators could be improved, remind them that for them it is just another service, but for you it is a unique experience.

Great way to get our bearing, we stayed on for full loop decided which stop suited us then got on and off accordingly Very helpful and pleasant. Such good value

Personnel provided excellent service but when they will be named bus stops in English also, will be better. Additionally, I would like to recommend make some tour bus stops more visible from the distance, espesially on the Green Line.

THEY NEVER INFORMED THAT DUE TO THE PROXIMITY OF THE HOLIDAYS, ROADS WOULD BE CLOSED AND THEY WOULD NOT COMPLY WITH SCHEDULES, FREQUENCIES OR STOPS TO TAKE THE BUS. I WILL RECOMMEND FUTURE TRAVELERS NOT TO USE THEIR SERVICES.

We love the hop-on hop-off feature to see whatever we want and get back on the bus anytime. Purchase tickets was easy online on my cell phone. I highly recommend it if you're trying to get familiar with a new city. After our visit on the bus, we went back and revisited places more in depth. I highly recommend they hop on hop off bus experience

Created in 1937 during the Spanish Civil War it stands as a powerful anti-war symbol. Depicting the horrors of the bombing of Guernica, the mural's distorted figures and haunting imagery convey the visceral impact of conflict. This universal masterpiece, housed in the Museo Reina Sofia in Madrid, transcends its historical context, serving as a timeless testament to the devastating consequences of war.
